                        Declaration of Plan to Discontinue Rental, Lease,
                        and Maintenance Services for Selected Machine
                        Types and Models 

    


                        Overview

                        Periodically, IBM provides notice to customers of plans to terminate lease, rental, and maintenance services for
                        machines under an IBM Agreement. At this time, we are providing notice that selected machine types and models
                        will be discontinued from lease, rental, and maintenance services. Refer to the Withdrawn Machine Types and
                        Models section for a complete list of the machine types and models and effective date. 

                        IBM will not send any further correspondence of this nature for these machines.

                        December 31, 2001

                        Withdrawn Machine Types and Models 

                        IBM will withdraw from its lease, rental, and maintenance agreements the machine types/models listed below,
                        effective December 31, 2001.
