Withdrawal Announcement September 29, 1998 Announcement Letter Number: 998-263 Table of Contents: Overview Periodically, IBM provides notice to customers of plans to terminate lease, rental, and maintenance services for machines, under an IBM Agreement. The affected machine types are those previously withdrawn from marketing that have been declared as being not Year 2000 ready. At this time, we are providing notice that selected machine types/ models will be discontinued from lease, rental, and maintenance services effective: September 30, 1999, for List B December 31, 1999, for List A Refer to the Withdrawn Machine Types/Models section for a complete list. IBM will not send any further correspondence of this nature for those machines.
